What's the purpose of this site?

Outdoor festivals, concerts and major events at Library Square and Washington Square are announced in a variety of places... some on public calendars, some on social media, some on community websites. That's fine if you know what you're looking for and where to look, but it's rough if you just want a quick answer to "what's happening at the squares this weekend, and will it mess with my commute?" This site keeps track of everything so you don't have to.

Why are there only events for Library Square and Washington Square on the list?

It's where I live, and I've always wanted a single source for all the outdoor events in my neighborhood. I'm open to expanding the list for other parts of the city if there's interest. Let me know if there's an area of town you'd like to see added to the site.
